Standard Cover is the basis of your cover, whichever combination of Care Options you choose. It's designed to offer a range of benefits that everyone is likely to need - whatever their individual preferences. It includes core benefits such as all in-patient and day-care treatment at any one of over 250 quality assessed private hospitals in the AXA PPP healthcare network; MRI, CT and PET scans, plus radiotherapy and chemotherapy are covered as an in-patient, day-care patient or out-patient; and up to 12 months cover* for licensed chemotherapy drug treatments such as Herceptin. Your first decision is whether you want to add outpatient cover to your Standard Cover - as either Limited out-patient cover (Option 2) or Full out-patient cover (Option 3)

Then you can choose from Options 4 – 8 which include therapies such as osteopathy, physiotherapy and chiropractics; psychiatric treatment and upgraded cancer cover. There's also a No Claims Discount Option to help reduce your premiums.

To ensure that the premiums for Care Options are kept to an affordable level, each plan has a standard £100 excess per person per policy year.
